Under The Weather

-

The Mighty Dachshund and I are both under the weather a bit today. She apparently didn’t land right when she jumped up the porch step yesterday and has been limping ever since, though I can’t find a touchy spot on her. I, on the other hand, am carrying a slight fever and my nose is flowing like a maple tap. I had a post that I wanted to work on, but don’t feel like it right now. Think I’ll go take a nap!

Hope you both get to feeling better. I hate when the dogs hurt themselves. They can't tell you what is wrong. They just look at you with those eyes that melt your heart.

Three ingredients: rose hips, fir needles, and a slice of orange. Make a tea and drink it up ~ full of vit. C.
Keep well

Nothing like getting some rest, both you wiener hound could use it. Of course there is that trip out doors later.

I think she's enjoying the coddling, Vicki, but she's still limping.

I don't currently have any of those things on hand, LL, but I am popping Vitamin C tablets.

I didn't get to sleep, SF, but the dog may have. I'll hit the hay after that trip outside.

I like herbal remedies well enough, but this is the time of year when you should take a Zyrtec every night before you go to bed. When the pine pollen is gone, you can quit. I know how stubborn men are about taking medicine, but if my husband sneezes into the back of my head during the night again, I'm going to start spiking his evening beverage with it.

Go ahead, it beats the sentence for murder, Cathy!

Rest up, both of you. My old daschund had a very bad back. I hope yours improves very quickly.

Thanks, Kathy, I think we're both slightly improved.
