Finally !

-
After much time and aggravation, I finally have my CDL for all practical purposes. All that remains is some paperwork next week at the DMV. Thanks for your prayers and moral support. (Some folks have always felt that my morals NEEDED supported!)

Gorges,

This is good news, indeed ! Congratulations ! Now, our prayers will shift from your completion of this task to finding a great new job and being safe as you travel. Thanks for sharing.

Congratulations Gorges on a job well done, in spite of what seems to have been somewhat aggravating circumstances! Living On the other side of the big pond, I am unsure what you'll be able to exactly but you worked hard for this, so well done.

Well that is good news! Of course paper work at DMV just means that they want more money I guess?
When you apply for a job don't forget all the driving that you did years ago, that ought to count for some experience.

Well god for you Gorges, I knew you'd make it. Next on to the job hunt. Hopefully something local without to much long distance travel.

Thanks, Sixbears. (Only afterward.)

Thanks, Vicki!

Thank you, Jane, and bless you.

Thanks, Joel. CDL stands for commercial drivers license. It's required to drive any commercial vehicle over 26,000 pounds. My Class A license will allow me to drive either a semi-truck (tractor trailer) or a straight frame. My tanker endorsement would also allow me to drive any tanker truck hauling non-hazardous liguid. I chose not to get a hazardous materials endorsement, which would have allowed me to haul fuel and chemicals.

It will help with mostb companies, SF, though perhaps not all.

Thanks, Cm, you may have had more faith in me than I did a couple times!

Thanks, Michael. It will HAVE to be local, as my wife can't stand being alone at night.

Thanks, Scooney!

Congratulations. I trust it will soon lead to gainful employment. There must be easier ways to grow spiritually.

Grace and peace.

Thanks, Pumice.
