More Signs Of Spring

-
This week, I got my first mosquito bite of the year, heard the first spring peepers, noticed the robins have left the woods to hop on the lawn, noticed that the geese are pairing up more, and saw that the Easter flowers (daffodils) are up and forming buds. I'm all for it!

Saw a robin the other day! Daffodils and crocus have not popped through the fresh snow yet.

I have seen all on your list but the mosquitoes. I had hoped that they suddenly became extinct.

Last week my wife saw a butterfly. In California. It was an exciting moment.

Grace and peace.

The peepers are indeed a welcome sound!

You'll have them before long, Cm.

I wouldn't miss them, either, SF!

I didn't know they were such a rarity there, Pumice.

I agree, Kathy. I've heardd them sing of an evening and then seen skim ice on their water the next day, but they sang again the next warm day.
