Firewood Splitting For Seniors - Lesson 1 (w/pic)

Always save the largest diameter log and split it last. That way, when you need to take a breather, you have a stool handy! lol © 2015

I don't think I will be splitting logs any time soon, but the concept applies in other areas. For instance, while working in my kitchen I always make sure there is a chair handy. :)

Vicki, my wife does the same with a walker that she got when she was having foot problems. She keeps it in the kitchen now for a seaat.

Yes, LL, considering how hard it is for me to get up and down off the ground these days, especially. lol
