SCAM ALERT!

-
My wife just got a recorded call from someone about her "social security." I told her that Social Security NEVER calls, they send things in the mail. I googled the number and sure enough, it's a scam out of Texas. BEWARE!

There is that one, and then there is also the one by the Indian/Pakistani fellow with an unlikely American sounding name, showing a Dearborn Michigan area code on the caller ID claiming to be from Blue-Cross-Blue-Shield, and then the one from the same fellow claiming to be from the IRS... I actually let rip with an "F-U A-Hole, go get a real job and stop trying to rip people off"...and hung up on him and he called me right back about 30 seconds later and screamed at me in his Indian accent "No-F-U" and hung up on me....I got a good laugh out of that one.. I must have got to him...
Then there is the one that barks out your name as soon as you pick up the horn... expecting you to say "YES".. which he then is able to record and use to access some automated voice response to some account of yours....

I'm pretty-much "scam-proof" I think, Michael.

It wasn't so bad until, LBJ stole all the money, SF!
