5:30AM Dog Pee

Her Royal Lowness makes her customary pause to sniff and then chooses a spot to drain. Two large dogs are barking in the distance, the neighbor's rooster is crowing and Venus is shining brightly in the eastern sky. The air is just cool enough that it's tempting to sit on the porch in hopes the mosquitoes are inactive, but I choose to take the pooch back inside. I thought it was supposed to rain by now, but it hasn't

Oh enjoy it! We are supposed to hit triple digits beginning next week. We've lucked out so far. Your rain if it happens sounds pleasant. Do you have a tin roof on the porch? I can't remember.

We could use the rain, LL. I've got asphalt shingles on the roof, but I'd rather have tin.
