Still loving the Mypillows we bought in answer to the "woke" boycott. Many wore than two can play at this game...

Why did people rattle the hookswitch on the phone to get the operator? The dial "made and broke" the telephone's circuit accordance with the number you dialed, sendnin pulses down the line to the central office equipment, which set up the call as the numbers were dialed. Dialing "0" pulsed the line ten times, the highest number the CO equipment could read. If you rattled the hookswitch on the phone a bunch of times quickly, it sent pulses down the line just like the dial would. The CO equipment would stop counting at ten, and give you the operator. This still works, by the way... The button on the front of that old phone; some phone lines needed to be momentarily grounded to draw dial tone. Pushing that button did this. They were called "ground start" lines.

The pothole; I'd say that's a Toyota Lowlander now...

The "redefinition" of "flu..." Brought to you by the same people who redefined "marriage" and "infrastructure..."

Packing the SCOTUS; it goes further than that. They are trying to create third, Left wing house of Congress that CAN'T BE VOTED OUT!

Trump was robbed... So was America...

Who's the kid in the '55 Chevy? That looks exactly like my '55 that I had on blocks when I went into the Navy, including the radiused rear wheel openings. I had $3600 in that car (in 1964-65 dollars) and my father did me a favor by selling it for $300.
I still have the title.

I have no idea, hjets. Some relatives can certainly be "helpful."
