Both are way to greasy for me.

No, but now I'm intrigued...

We all may be looking for recipes soon...

No...but I have eaten barbequed coon.

I've never had it, but heard it's tasty, but not as tasty as nutria, which I was told was a suspected brisket substitution on a sandwich purchased at a questionable barbeque stand. Since it was seasoned, and cooked, to perfection, I really didn't care if it was nutria.

Ts, I've never thought YOUNG coon was greasy, but then I trimmed off every speck of fat.

No harm in that, Scott.

I imagine it was good, Mh.

I've eaten muskrat and thought it tasted like squirrel, Jess; I'd expect nutria would be similar.

When Dan has to dispose of an animal he hates to see it's life wasted. We've had 'possums and coons pester our chickens so they ended up on our dinner table instead. Very good smoked! Especially 'possum.

Must be a WV thing. I never smoked tobacco and I don't see myself smoking sick coon.

Grace and peace

I'll remember that, Leigh.

Your highfalutin ways have cost you some good eating, Pumice, though I admit they aren't kosher.
