As a certified country curmudgeon, it's been said that I have an opinion on everything and a story for every occasion. Other folks just say that I'm a windbag. I, on the other hand, consider myself a purveyor of nostalgia, humor and social commentary from the country perspective. I also occasionally link to posts dealing with current events, politics, religion, prepping, history and homesteading. #45: WW2 soldiers. The SB armbands mean they are stretcher bearers, and so could be bandsmen. My great uncle was a piper during WW1 and delighted my dad ( as a boy!) with horror stories of what they found as they worked.
When my son was in high school he was on the wrestling team. They won the state championship 3 of the 4 years. The wrestlers were popular and he figured out quickly most girls were a bit shallow. His first date with a girl was a fast food drive through and fishing off a dock at Lake Lanier. He married the second one that made it past the first date after they dated all through college. Their answer to everything was to go fishing to think everything through.

Indeed they were, DC.
Rule 3, Graham, Rule 3!
"Keep your finger off the trigger until you have acquired your target and are ready to shoot."
I don't care if that Winchester 94 is loaded or not, you are still developing a bad habit that could cause you great grief later on.
You are a good actor and people watch what you do. You owe it to them, too.
Remember Rule 3 and practice it always.
I totally agree, TOG.
